- Refusal of Work: The company reserves the right to refuse or decline work at its discretion.
- Statutory Rights: Nothing in these conditions will reduce the customer’s statutory rights relating to faulty or mis-described goods/services.
- Protecting Your Home: Our engineers will do everything reasonably possible to protect the customer’s home and furniture. We will use dustsheets and carpet protectors for the areas we are working in.Â
Pricing and Payment
- Quoted Price: The quotation is the final price for the works discussed, including labour and materials, unless unforeseen circumstances or customer changes alter the scope of the job. All added or changed work will be chargeable at our normal rates.
- Variations to the Works: Any additional works or variations to the original quote will be brought to the customer’s attention as soon as possible and will result in a revised quotation and extra charges.
- Payment Terms: Payment is due in full immediately upon completion of the works unless previously agreed. Invoices will be produced on the day of completion and maximum terms will be 7 days.
- Deposits: A deposit of 30% of the quoted fee will be required for all jobs or special order parts. No job is confirmed until the deposit is paid. This includes quotes produced through our online quoting tool.
- Late Payment: Sums unpaid after the due date will incur daily interest accrual charges of 3% above the bank of England base rate and a one off administration fee of £25.00.
- Minimum Charge: A minimum labour fee of £65.00 will be charged irrespective of time spent on site for call outs, with the exception of home surveys to confirm online or pre-arranged quotes. This fee will be waived if it is necessary for us to install a new boiler or heat pump.
